GAP dogs again a success at Ekka

The Greyhound Adoption Program (GAP) showcased its greyhounds, along with former racers who have already found their retirement homes, as ambassadors for greyhound adoption at the opening day of the 2024 Brisbane Royal Exhibition on August 10.

The GAP Team also participated in the 2024 Racing Queensland Greyhound Sweepstakes, where Jam and her handler Div clinched the top spot in the special GAP Greyhound category. Held in the Canine Pavilion at the RNA Showgrounds, the event provided a fantastic opportunity for GAP and greyhound adopters to promote the wonderful qualities of greyhounds as pets.

The event was a tremendous success, with the attending greyhounds attracting significant attention and, most importantly, numerous inquiries about the benefits of adopting greyhounds.
