Celebrate Christmas with the Greyhound Adoption Program (GAP) community at our final Homeward Hounds adoption events of the year on Saturday 16 December.

GAP Queensland is run by the Queensland Racing Integrity Commission (QRIC)as it works with the racing industry to retire their racers to Queensland homes.

QRIC Deputy Commissioner Natalie Conner said 2023 has been our best yet for greyhound adoptions and we are aiming to finish the year on a high.

“If you have room under your Christmas tree for a retired racer, there’s still time to apply to adopt or foster,” she said.

“Pick up your GAP greyhound at our Brisbane and Townsville Ho Ho Homeward Hounds events.

“If you already have a GAP greyhound at home, you’re invited to come along, with special festive activities free to everyone in the community, it will be a fun day out for humans and fur babies alike.”

Ho Ho Homeward Hounds Brisbane will be held at 16 Old Cleveland Rd, Capalaba to adopt, foster and enjoy the festive fun, from 10am-1pm and we are excited that four time Olympian and dog lover Leisel Jones to our Brisbane event.
