Timmy and Tommy, the Greyhound Adoption Program’s (GAP) official greyhound ambassadors unveiled the GAP’s new look website today, boasting new functionality and a more user-friendly design.

Timmy and Tommy were both adopted through the GAP and have taken on the responsibility of promoting the Queensland Racing Integrity Commission (QRIC) GAP at key events and online.

Their biggest project for GAP is the launch of the new look website. The new website is a one-stop-shop for trainers wishing to retire their greyhounds to the program, and potential greyhound adopters to find all the information they need about the adoption and fostering process.

The website also includes information about all the greyhounds currently available for adoption in a gallery of dogs looking for homes.

QRIC Director of Veterinary Services and Animal Welfare Dr Martin Lenz said he was delighted to work with Timmy and Tommy to launch the new website, which is designed to link retired greyhounds with their new owners.

“We invite everyone to visit the new website and to follow Timmy and Tommy on their adventures by following GAP social media channels on Facebook and Instagram.”

You can visit the new website today at gapqld.com.au.
