Privacy collection

The Queensland Racing Integrity Commission (QRIC) collects your personal information when you submit this form for the purpose of assessing your suitability to adopt a greyhound, and matching you with an appropriate greyhound through the Greyhound Adoption Program (GAP). The personal information collected on this form includes your name, email address, phone number, age, occupation, address, and household information relevant to the adoption process, including, but not limited to, the number of adults and children in your household, existing pets, and property fencing. This information is necessary to process greyhound adoptions through GAP.

Your personal information may be disclosed to employees and officers of QRIC administering GAP, and veterinarians engaged by QRIC.

If your information is transferred outside Australia, it will be done so in compliance with the legal protections afforded under the Information Privacy Act 2009 (Qld) ('IP Act').

If you do not provide the required personal information collected via this form, it may limit QRIC's ability to progress or finalise your greyhound adoption application.

Your personal information will be handled in accordance with the IP Act. You can gain access to and request that corrections be made to information held about you by QRIC.
