GAP Application Form

By submitting this application, I acknowledge that while waiting for my retired greyhound to be adopted via GAP, I agree:

  • To not race the retired greyhound;
  • To continue to socialise the dog;
  • To ensure the dog remains in good condition and disease free;
  • To continue with heartworm/worming preventative treatments;
  • If the dog tests positive for heartworm or hookworm, it cannot be rehomed via GAP, and the dog will be returned to the participant submitting the greyhound for the necessary treatment;
  • If a greyhound is returned within fourteen days of adoption, it will be returned to the participant to wait for a new adoption application; and
  • To advise GAP if adopted to a third party.
