Caesar is living in foster care and ready for adoption.
Caesar is a nervous/shy boy who will need someone patient to give him extra time to warm up and settle in at home. He is very independent, happy for a pat and then spends 98% of his day just sleeping and lounging around.
He isn’t a fan of walking in unfamiliar areas or in public, he has a bush walk around his current home where there is minimal noise and he is fine with that so someone that isn’t bothered if they don’t go out on walks, as Caesar is much more of a homebody and that is where he is most comfortable.
Caesar would be great for someone retired that just wants a companion at home. He does love to play in the yard so a big backyard in a quiet area would be ideal. He really enjoys playing fetch with toys, sticks or balls – even bringing them back to you!
Caesar is wonderful with his foster carer but unfamiliar visitors he will retreat to his safe space, usually the bedroom, so he would thrive in a quiet household. Caesar also has Pannus.
Caesar’s suitability:
✅ Fine to be left home alone (full time workers would be fine)
✅ No living with children or children that visit please
✅ He could live with another calm medium to large breed easily or as a single dog
✅ Home with a yard
