Rex is a sweet, relaxed gentleman with a gentle soul and just a hint of shyness. He likes to take things at his own pace—especially when it comes to affection. While he enjoys pats, Rex can be a bit of a fidgeter and appreciates having the freedom to come and go as he pleases.

An independent explorer, Rex loves to wander and check out his surroundings, often looping back to check in with his people along the way.

Though calm by nature, Rex enjoys being part of the action in his own quiet way. He doesn’t need constant attention, but he does like knowing his people are nearby. For this reason, he’d thrive in a home where someone is around most of the time, or where he has a calm companion big or small to keep him company.

Rex could also be a lovely match for dog-savvy children, as he’s respectful around food and toys and has a good sense of personal space—he just asks that his boundaries are respected in return.
