Smiles is an energetic, affectionate, and playful dog who will light up any home with her personality.

Smiles is incredibly responsive and loves to please, making her a joy to train. She is highly food-motivated, which means she learns quickly and thrives when rewarded with treats or praise. Her playful side shines through especially when she gets her zoomies, during these bursts of energy, she can get a little frisky and funny, showing off her silly, joyful personality.

She is best suited to an experienced dog owner, as she can get a little jumpy and excitable when she’s full of energy. The GAP team has been helping her manage this, so a family who can continue that work and provide consistent guidance would be a great fit.

She also has a very unique way of playing with toys: she’ll toss them in the air and catch them herself, so there’s no need to play fetch, she makes her own fun! Her sense of humour and love of play make her a delightful companion for active households.

Smiles is incredibly friendly and gets along wonderfully with other dogs. We think she may even do well with a cat, given her gentle yet playful nature. She is adaptable and would suit a variety of home environments, from a lively family home to a quieter household with understanding owners who can keep up with her energy.
