Chico is a sweet and gentle boy who has shown us just how kind-hearted he really is. During his time with us, he has been wonderful with small and medium-sized dogs, always displaying a calm and respectful nature. Because of his gentle temperament, we believe Chico may even be suited to a home with cats, provided introductions are managed carefully.

One of Chico’s favourite hobbies is bird watching — he loves nothing more than sitting quietly and observing the world go by. This calm curiosity really captures his personality.

Chico can be a little nervy and skittish when it comes to new people or unfamiliar environments. For this reason, he will thrive best in a quiet and understanding home, where his family is happy to give him the time and space he needs to settle in. With patience, consistency, and a gentle approach, Chico’s confidence will continue to grow. Once he feels safe and secure, his affectionate side shines through — treats, gentle words, and plenty of cuddles are the quickest way to win his heart.
