Doug would be okay to live with older dog-savvy kids as he sometimes forgets his size and is continuing to work on his personal space. He does love affection and likes to initiate getting pats on his terms, when comfortable he gets that typical greyhound lean going and is happy to just stay next to you, until he gets distracted and wanders off to explore.
