Meet Hardy.
Despite his tough-sounding name, Hardy is a gentle giant with a calm and sweet nature. He enjoys having his own space to relax and watch the world go by, but once he feels comfortable with you, he’ll happily come in for low cuddles and quiet company.
Hardy would thrive with a doggy sibling of any size, though he’d also be perfectly happy as the only dog if he has plenty of enrichment, comfy spots to lounge, and someone to check in with during the day. He’d likely suit a family with part-time work schedules, so he can enjoy both downtime and quality time with his people.
If Hardy’s home includes little humans, we’re hoping they’re 6+ and understand that he doesn’t always want people in his face. Hardy is super friendly and curious, and once he feels safe, his playful side comes out, bringing laughter and joy to anyone lucky enough to spend time with him. He’s a loyal, affectionate companion who would love a family to include him in their everyday adventures, from quiet snuggles at home to exploring new sights and smells on walks.
Hardy may be a big boy, but he has an even bigger heart and a personality that will melt yours in no time.
