JD is a big boy with an even bigger heart. Beneath his handsome exterior is the sweetest, soft-natured companion you could ever wish to meet. While he can be a little nervous when faced with new situations or environments, once he warms up, he quickly becomes your loyal best mate.

JD has shown us how wonderful he is with little dogs, always gentle and respectful in their company. Because of this, we believe he may also be suitable for a home with cats, provided careful introductions are made.

Companionship will be very important for JD in his new home. He thrives when he has company and will flourish in a household where he isn’t left on his own for long periods. Whether it’s a quiet couple’s home or a family with dog-savvy children or teens, JD has the potential to fit in beautifully.
