He enjoys life at a relaxed pace, happy to snooze the day away or wander over to keep you company wherever you are. He’s not overly smothering with affection, but he’ll always be close by, quietly reminding you how lovely it is to have a loyal friend by your side.
Poncho loves his daily walks and is a dream on lead — one stroll a day suits him perfectly, though he’ll happily go for more if you’re up for it!
This gentle giant would be comfortable living in an apartment, townhouse, or house, and could share his space with another calm dog of medium to large size. He’s also fine with respectful children aged 7 and up.
Poncho loves his food — so much that he’s been known to help himself to any tasty treats left unattended on the bench! His enthusiasm for mealtimes is unmatched, and it’s part of his lovable charm.
He’d do well in a home with part-time workers and requires ongoing Cartrophen injections to help manage his arthritis, ensuring he continues living his best, most comfortable life.
