Adoption applications are now open for Bear.

Bear is the perfect mix of affectionate and independent. He loves a cuddle and enjoys being close to his people, but he’s also confident enough to do his own thing and take life in his stride. With his cheerful nature and playful energy, Bear is very much still a puppy at heart — a goofy, enthusiastic boy who hasn’t quite realised he’s all grown up yet.

Bear is looking for a dog-savvy, patient home that can help guide him as he continues to learn about the world. He will thrive with an experienced family who are committed to giving him the training, socialisation and positive exposure he needs to become the best version of himself. He’s a clever and confident boy, but he’ll need support, structure and consistency as he builds his manners and social skills.

Because Bear is such an enthusiastic and energetic lad, he may accidentally knock over small children in his excitement, so he’s best suited to a home without kids. He would absolutely love a secure yard where he can stretch his legs, enjoy his zoomies, and burn off some of that joyful energy, and he’d be happiest with an active family who can keep up with his zest for life.

At this stage, Bear would do best as the only dog in the home while he continues working on his socialisation and learning good manners around other furry friends. With time, patience and the right guidance, he has so much potential to flourish.

Bear is a bright, loving, larger-than-life boy who will bring laughter, affection and plenty of fun to the right home. If you’re an active, experienced household looking for a confident, cuddly companion with a playful streak, Bear might just be your perfect match.
