Jesse is a sweet, gentle, and affectionate boy who will quickly become your shadow. He loves being close to his humans and will happily snuggle right into you whenever he gets the chance. A true "leaner," Jesse finds comfort in being near his family and will bring warmth and love to any home.

This calm and polite boy gets along wonderfully with dogs of all sizes, making him a great addition to a home with another canine companion. He’s equally happy as a single dog, especially if someone is home more often to keep him company. Jesse could also thrive in a home with full-time workers, provided he has a doggy friend to keep him company during the day. While his compatibility with cats hasn’t been tested, he shows potential to be cat-friendly. Jesse is also great with children aged 8 and up who can interact gently with him.

Jesse is a dream to walk on lead, making him an excellent choice for retirees or elderly owners. While he can be a little sensitive to loud or sudden noises, his confidence is growing every week. With a bit of reassurance, he recovers quickly and continues on his way. Jesse enjoys his walks but is equally content spending quiet time at home with his family. His calm, placid nature and low-energy personality make him a perfect fit for a relaxed household.

Jesse’s adaptable nature means he’d be happy in a variety of living situations, whether it’s an apartment in a quiet area, a townhouse, or a house with a yard. He’s comfortable with both open and closed stairs, so multi-level homes are no problem.

It’s worth noting that Jesse is on cartrophen to manage arthritis, but this doesn’t stop him from enjoying life to the fullest. He’s ready to bring his gentle, loving presence to a home that will cherish him as much as he’ll cherish you.

Jesse's suitability

  • Can live with small to large polite dog
  • Suitable for children 8+ years

  • Content on being a single dog
