Jessie might take a little time to get to know you, but give her a chance and you'll discover a lovely, friendly girl hiding behind that initial uncertainty. She likes to take things at her own pace and would appreciate a little patience while she gets comfortable. Once she's feeling settled, her sweet personality starts to shine, and there's plenty to love about this girl.

Now, if there's one way to win Jessie's heart, it's with treats! She absolutely loves her food and is very enthusiastic when snacks are on offer. The good news is she's also incredibly responsive, so she's a great candidate for continuing to learn her manners around food. With someone willing to provide a little guidance and encouragement, she'll be well on her way. Because of her enthusiasm for food, Jessie would be best suited to a home without tiny humans, where mealtimes and treats can be managed with a little extra care.

Jessie was exceptionally gentle with our little assessor dog, so she'd happily, share her home with another canine companion. She's also such a happy girl that she's wagged her tail so much she's ended up with a case of happy tail! Her tail is now slightly shorter, but that certainly hasn't stopped it from wagging.
