King

King is a sweet, sensitive boy who is looking for a patient and understanding family to help him continue building his confidence. He can be a little nervous at times and may choose to move away when unsure, but in his foster home he’s already showing beautiful signs of progress, slowly seeking out affection and connection on his own terms.

He would thrive in a quiet home with a calm routine and minimal comings and goings. King currently lives with teenage children and would suit a similar home, but isn’t suited to one with young kids. He also lives happily with a Labradoodle and would benefit from having a confident canine companion (or two) to help guide him as he grows.

King enjoys his daily walks and absolutely loves hopping in the car, even for short trips. At home, he’s mastered stairs like a pro and is a very gentle, placid boy. He could suit a townhouse or a home with a yard and is comfortable being left alone, making him suitable for full-time workers.

This foodie boy will need a little management when left alone (a baby gate is a must!) as he may otherwise go on a pantry adventure. He has also shown signs that he may be cat tolerant, though this hasn’t been formally tested.

With time, patience, and a loving environment, King is sure to blossom into a wonderfully loyal companion.
