Macey

Macey is a quirky girl with a delightful mix of independence and just a touch of FOMO. She likes to do her own thing, but she also wants to make sure she is not missing out on anything important — or even mildly interesting — that the family might be doing.

Macey would love a home where someone is around more often, not because she needs to be the centre of attention every minute, but because she enjoys being included in family life. In true Macey style, this often just means being in the same general area as her people while she happily does her own thing.

She does enjoy pats and attention, but usually only after she has finished her personal rounds of exploring and decided that now is the right time, thank you very much. A home with a yard would be perfect for her, giving her space to potter, investigate and satisfy her curious nature. An active family would suit her well, especially one that understands her lovely balance of involvement and independence.

Macey could also live with another dog. She can be quite playful and would likely enjoy a canine friend who can help show her the ropes. If that friend is smaller, a calm one would be best, as Macey can sometimes forget she is a little bigger than she realises and bring the same enthusiasm to play regardless of size.
