Adoption applications are now open for Max.

Max is a stunning, happy-go-lucky young man with a waggy body that never seems to stop moving. Standing still really is not his thing — if his legs are not on the go, his bum certainly is. He is full of youthful joy and curiosity, always ready to check out what is happening and have a proper sniff around the yard.

For a young boy, Max has a lovely independent streak. He is more than happy to head off on his own little adventures, exploring, investigating and generally making sure nothing interesting goes unnoticed. Give him some outdoor space and he will be in his element, happily amusing himself between bursts of enthusiasm.

Max would thrive in an active home with a yard or some space to stretch his legs and satisfy his need for a good sniffari. He could potentially suit a full-time working household, as he shows a nice ability to self-amuse, but he would still love a family who can match his zest for life and give him plenty of opportunities for fun and adventure.

Because Max is a lively, energetic boy, a home with older children would suit him best. He is all enthusiasm and good intentions, but he may be a bit much for very young kids.

Max also enjoys meeting new canine friends and has some lovely manners for a youngster. Even when he is very keen to say hello, he knows how to approach politely and is especially gentle with smaller dogs — proving that all that wiggle comes with a thoughtful side too.

If you are looking for a cheerful, playful companion with a curious nature, a happy heart and a bum that could probably wag on its own, Max might just be your perfect match.
