Pesto

Pesto is a happy, bubbly social butterfly who loves everyone he meets, both animals and humans! He’s always excited to greet new friends and is wonderfully gentle and friendly when meeting other dogs on his walks.

And there’s something extra special about Pesto: he’s a three-legged greyhound who certainly doesn’t let that slow him down! He’s loving life, enjoys short daily walks, weekend adventures to new walking spots, and plenty of zoomies and playtime in the yard. His three legs don’t stop him from making the most of every day!

Pesto would love a townhouse or home with a yard where he can enjoy playing with his favourite soft toys, having a zoomie or relaxing outside with a tasty chew. He’s also a big fan of food and enrichment, with chicken necks and bones being particular favourites.

He could happily live with another dog of any size and would likely enjoy having a canine companion, but he is also comfortable as an only dog. He could live with children aged six and over and may be cat tolerant, although he hasn't been tested. He enjoys being around his people and would suit part-time or casual workers, or full-time workers with some work-from-home days if he is the only dog.

Pesto loves his people and is very affectionate, often nestling in close or rolling over for a belly scratch. He also loves jumping in the car and is always excited when a drive is on the cards!
