Adoption applications are now open for Rosie.

Rosie is a sweetheart looking for that special someone who will give her the time, love and patience she needs to feel safe in a quieter home. Once she has the chance to settle in, Rosie has all the makings of a deeply affectionate girl, with just a little playful sparkle waiting to shine through. She seems very much like a one-person kind of dog, ready to form a close and meaningful bond with someone who understands her gentle nature.

Rosie prefers life in the slower, quieter lane. She is happiest when she can lie down comfortably, calmly watch the world around her, and enjoy the occasional pat and quiet affection. She doesn’t ask for much — just a peaceful home and someone kind to share it with.

Rosie could live with another dog, especially if they are calm and gentle, as she does seem to gain confidence from having a steady canine friend nearby. An excitable dog, however, would not be to her taste, and she would be much more comfortable with a companion who matches her quiet nature.

Because Rosie is a sensitive and shy lady, a home without children would be best for her. She will thrive in an environment where she can settle at her own pace and build trust without too much noise or pressure.

Rosie is also not a particularly energetic dog, which means she could be quite content in an apartment, townhouse or house with a yard. As long as she has a calm home and someone to love, the type of property matters far less than the feeling of safety and belonging.

Rosie is a beautiful soul who is simply waiting for the right person to help her feel at home. For someone willing to give her patience and understanding, she has the potential to become a wonderfully loyal and loving companion.
