Sweets is a fun-time kind of guy who has never met a person he did not want to be involved with. People are absolutely his favourite thing, and while he may occasionally show a bit of interest in a larger canine mate, his heart is very firmly with the humans.

He is a curious young man who approaches life with his nose first, determined to sniff every inch of any new environment as though he has been personally appointed chief investigator. If there is something to explore, Sweets is on the case.

Sweets can be a boisterous lad and does sometimes forget that he is not built like a pocket-sized dog. Because of his size and enthusiasm, he would be best suited to a home with teenagers or older, dog-savvy kids who can appreciate his big personality and even bigger zest for life.

An active family would be right up Sweets’ alley, especially one that does not mind having a cheerful helper following them from room to room, yard to yard, and probably into any business that looks remotely interesting. He may think of himself as a little shadow, but in reality he is more of a full-sized assistant with strong opinions about being included.
