Adoption applications are now open for Wally.

Wally is a fun-loving and energetic boy with a zest for life that’s absolutely contagious! At 5 years old, he’s young at heart and has plenty of playful energy to keep up with an active and experienced family. His ideal day would include exploring new places, playing with his favourite toys in the yard, and sharing a cuddle after a day filled with adventure.

When it comes to affection, Wally doesn’t hold back—he’ll often come running at full speed with a big, happy grin, ready to lean in for some love and those coveted bum scratches. His enthusiasm for life is truly heartwarming, and he shows that he would love exploring new sights, sounds, and experiences.

Wally has made wonderful progress on managing his eagerness and is learning to calm himself when needed, but his new family will need to continue helping him hone these skills so he can grow into the best version of himself.

Because of his size and lively spirit, Wally would prefer a home with older children who can handle his excitement and understand his big, affectionate nature. He doesn’t want to accidentally knock over little ones in his enthusiasm to show his love.

Wally would also love the companionship of a calm, medium-to-large canine friend. He’s very interactive and enjoys playing and learning from others, but he’d do best with a dog whose easy-going nature can provide a calm influence for him to follow.

If your family is active, loving, and ready to welcome a joyful boy like Wally, he’ll quickly win you over with his playful energy, affectionate lean-ins, and boundless love for life.
