Foster a GAP Greyhound for Christmas
Are you interested in hosting a GAP greyhound for Christmas?
Applications are NOW OPEN to host a GAP greyhound guest over the Christmas period.
Let us know if you would love to welcome a GAP greyhound guest into your family from 18 November 2023 to 2 January 2024.
Applications close on 12 November 2023.
Your GAP greyhound guest will be matched to your family and be available for pick up at or before our Homeward Hounds events in Brisbane and Townsville on Saturday 18 November.

Before submitting your expression of interest, please note the following terms and conditions
- A suitable greyhound may not be available for your family’s situation.
- Cat-friendly greyhounds are not available for this program.
- We would love people who are available between 18 November 2023 and 6 January 2024.
- We would love our greyhounds to be back at our kennels by 6 January 2024 – unless you decide to adopt!
- If you have other dogs, you will be required to bring them to Homeward Hounds or the GAP kennels for a meet and greet before accepting your GAP greyhound guest.
